EPA is committed to growing the sport of pickleball in Etobicoke and providing our membership challenging and fun opportunities to play. Our events will be designed to attract new players, enhance your skills and have fun!
Come out and join us for our Fall EPA member FUN tournament on Oct 5/6 at Humber Valley Tennis/Pickleball courts. Meet new players and have some fun!
The tournament will be doubles play but you won’t need a partner to join! Games will be structured so that you play with a different partner every round. At the end of the round robin your individual scores will be ranked to determine you place and partner in the playoffs. There will be Men’s, Women’s and Mixed categories in both a Competitive and Recreational side.

If you are new to pickleball come out and learn to play in a relaxed environment. Our Fall Learn 2 Play sessions (for those that haven’t participated in the past) will be running every Thursday morning in September from 8:30 to 10:00 and a second session at 10:30 to noon, weather permitting. Dates are Sept. 9, 16, 23 and 30. This is a great opportunity to meet other players and gain confidence in your game. Bring your friends. Paddles and balls provided if required but bring your own equipment if you have it.
All sessions will be held at Tom Riley Park (Islington and Dundas). Parking is free and located on the east side of Islington just south of Dundas. Look for the lawn bowling sign (just north of the baseball diamond). Cross over the foot bridge to find the courts.
Cost is FREE but we would appreciate you becoming a member of the Etobicoke Pickleball Association if you haven’t already. Cost is $10 for the 2021 season.
Please send an email to president@etobicokepickleball.com if you are going to join us! Hope to see you there!
If you are a relative newcomer to pickleball and want to meet others just starting out, come out to beginner play days. There will be drills (if you would like to practice) and/or game play, all run by EPA volunteers who are also there to answer any questions. Beginner play days run four times a week, all at Tom Riley park (map):
ROSS is running games Sunday mornings at 8:00 AM
AARON will be there Mondays at 2:00 PM
RITA will be there Tuesdays at 9:00 AM
BONNIE will be there Wednesdays at 9:30 AM
Note: Parking for Tom Riley is free – east side of Islington south of Dundas – north of the baseball diamond – turn in at the lawn bowling sign.
Cross the footbridge over the creek to find the courts.
Playing individual doubles matches amongst friends is fun but if you like the competitive aspects of the game we are pleased to introduce the EPA Members Doubles Ladder.
For our first league series, we will have an “Open” division doubles ladder league (any combination of male/female players) and a Women’s doubles ladder league.
If you are interested in participating, please send an email to president@
Your team members must belong to the Etobicoke Pickleball Association to participate.
Some fantastic days of pickleball took place at Humber Valley for the first ever EPA members FUN tournament with 5 events taking place over two days. The weather was great (eventually!) and everyone played their best. Tournaments are a challenge and everyone participated with passion and sportsmanship.
Thanks to all the volunteers that came out to help with so many aspects of the tournament. We couldn’t have done it without you!
And thank you to our tournament sponsors whose generous donations helped make the event extra special: Gutter Force, Delmanor and Pickleball 365!
If you are just getting into playing pickleball and want a fun and friendly way to get started, why not come out to one of our beginner play days? The EPA will provide informal instructions on the basics of the game. Learn to play in a casual, relaxed environment. We will have extra paddles and balls but if you have your own equipment please bring it with you. FREE!
Please send an email to president@etobicokepickleball.com to register for play.
Thank you to our Gold Sponsors:
